LCX®-SL – carbon composite type 3 cylinders

Luxfer’s LCX®-SL (Super Light) cylinders are the lightest-weight carbon composite SCBA cylinders available in North America. Available in 30-, 45-, and 60-minute sizes, Luxfer’s SL cylinders are more than 10% lighter than standard Luxfer LCX® cylinders and cylinders available from other manufacturers.

SL cylinders help reduce the weight burden of a firefighter’s total PPE and SCBA equipment ensemble and are compatible with all exiting filling and storage infrastructures and interfaces. Because of Luxfer’s proprietary Super Light liner technology, optimized composite materials engineering and state-of-the-art manufacturing, the SL product range is an advance in SCBA composite cylinder technology.
