24 June 2003 – Luxfer’s range of carbon composite SCBA cylinders now comply to an extended 5 year re-test period offering significant benefits including 50% fewer tests over a 15 year life cycle and reduced maintenance costs.

The new 5 year re-testing period is also retrospective to existing Luxfer carbon composite cylinders manufactured to HSE standards resulting in greatly improved inventory management and administration.
