NOTTINGHAM, England (March 28, 2008)—Rettmobil 2008, one of Germany’s leading trade shows for emergency and rescue sectors, will be the next stop on Luxfer’s 2008 exhibition calendar when delegates co-host a stand with DEHAS, Luxfer’s German distributor, from May 14-17 in Fulda, Germany.

Now in its eighth year, Rettmobil continues to attract growing numbers of visitors and exhibitors from across Europe together with industry specialists from healthcare, safety and rescue services.

As part of its marketing campaign titled ‘When Lives Depend on O2 Therapy,’ Luxfer will showcase its lightweight Voyage cylinders made from patented L7X® higher-strength aluminium alloy and its Odyssey ultra-lightweight carbon-composite cylinders.

Vicky Butler, Luxfer’s European medical marketing manager, has been working closely with German medical companies, including DEHAS, to meet growing demand for lightweight cylinders in the fire and rescue sector. “Luxfer’s Voyage and Odyssey medical gas cylinders are ergonomically designed to combine dramatic weight savings with extended gas delivery and exceptional strength, making them ideal for fire and rescue operations involving high-rise buildings or confined spaces,” she said.
