RIVERSIDE, Calif. (Oct. 1, 2003)—The Luxfer Service Center Division of Luxfer Gas Cylinders has received approval to the international quality standard ISO 9001:2000 from Lloyd’s Registry Quality Assurance (LRQA), a leading international certification body.

Four other Luxfer manufacturing facilities gained approval to the same ISO standard in 2002. They were the aluminum and composite cylinder facilities also located in Riverside, the Luxfer aluminum cylinder plant in Graham, N.C., and the Hydrospin plant in Huntington Beach, Calif.

Luxfer’s Service Center Division provides complete refurbishment and requalification for aluminum cylinders used in a wide range of services, including medical, industrial specialty gas, CO2, scuba, SCBA and automotive.
