Luxfer Group recently announced that it had entered a process for divesting the Graham, NC aluminum cylinder plant.

On March 25, 2021, Luxfer confirmed that this process has come to a successful conclusion and that it has completed the sale of the Graham facility to Metal Impact East LLC, a subsidiary of Thunderbird Manufacturing LLC. Metal Impact East is an existing supplier to the aluminium cylinder market and, like Graham, is focussed primarily on the Americas market.

There is no impact on ongoing Luxfer Gas Cylinder sites in Riverside, Pomona, Canada, Nottingham and Shanghai, which continue to operate as the Luxfer Gas Cylinders business unit of Luxfer Group.
