Luxfer introduces N200 industrial gas cylinder in response to customer requests

September 15, 2002—Luxfer Gas Cylinders has expanded its product line of high-pressure aluminum cylinders for industrial and specialty gas applications by adding a new, 200-cubic-foot, 3,000-psi (207-bar) cylinder.

Luxfer already offered the world’s broadest range of large industrial cylinders, including our exclusive N150 (150-cubic-foot) and N265 (265-cubic-foot) models. The N200 was developed specifically in response to requests by gas company customers who wanted an intermediate model with a more compact profile.

Manufactured from Luxfer’s proprietary 6061 aluminum alloy, the N200 is an ideal answer for those who are concerned about stress corrosion cracking in steel cylinders in CO/CO2 mix service.
