Luxfer ECLIPSE Pro

NEXT-GENERATION SCBA CYLINDER

Luxfer ECLIPSETM is the latest evolution in SCBA cylinders – a next-generation, lightweight design that maintains the performance and quality you expect when breathing matters most.

Given that the average professional firefighter’s personal protective equipment weighs 34kg, every bit helps.

  • Up to 20% lighter than competitive aluminium lined (Type 3) SCBA cylinders.
  • Comparable in weight to plastic-lined (Type 4) cylinders used in Europe.
  • Conventional carbon composite SCBA cylinders use a full fibreglass overwrap. Through its advanced, high-strength aerospace-grade carbon wrap design, Luxfer ECLIPSE eliminates the need for this layer without compromising strength, durability and safety.
